Underbelly

Underbelly is a major festival operator founded in 2000, best known for its bold branding and eclectic programme. It hosts events across several Fringe sites including George Square Gardens, Bristo Square, Cowgate, and the Circus Hub.

Each August, Underbelly presents a packed schedule of comedy, circus, theatre, cabaret, and music. Its venues are known for their lively atmosphere, with outdoor bars, food stalls, and communal seating. Underbelly's iconic upside-down purple cow venue, the Udderbelly, is a symbol of the Fringe.
