Saw this show last year and it was STUNNING. Moments that make you laugh, gasp and take your breath away throughout, these two performers are masterful at what they do and I would 100% recommend you go see this!

Mythos: Ragnarok
Thoroughly enjoyed the retelling of the norse tales and wrestling action, worth catching if you can!

Complicated mother-daughter relationships certainly are a buzzing topic in my world, so I'm 100% the right audience for this! Such a personable beautiful little show full of compassion! Although sadly I was a few minutes late and had to run to the backseats (where the AC seemed to be running quite loudly, so I struggled to hear everything), Karin's performance was hugely empathic towards her mum, herself and her own children (!). As a woman in her 20s, still healing from family wounds (and parents that still happily pretend all was good), there was something quite healing about seeing a woman my mum's age being so open, vulnerable and self-aware - reflecting not only on her mum's life but her own mishaps as a mother of two. "We are the mirror, as well as the face in it". Thank you so much for bringing it to the Fringe

Hold on to Your Butts
This was painstakingly accurate. I remember when the film was new there was a pirate copy avaliable. It was filmed in a cinema with the back of the heads of the row in front visible. And that is how I saw this, mostly the back of the head of the guy in front. The bits that happened to the sides were funny anyway.

The Faustus Project
I went to see this last night and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The concept is amazing and works really well. It was really funny and exciting. The cast were brilliant and talented, switching easily from one character to another. Alex Bathe was Faustus and was a willing participant in the surprising turns of events.

– Geraldine B.

Stellar show from a fantastic comic! Sharp jokes, great storytelling, and everyone in the audience was loving it. Favorite bit was Jaffer’s ten-minute closer on 9/11 that gives the show its name. Next-level stuff!

Great comedy, great music and an all-round top guy. You'll feel like you've been on a holiday as Paul shares some pics, with some serious singing talent along with way.

Absolutely brilliant! Really entertaining from start to finish and the performers were fantastic. So many gasps, laughs and plenty of biscuits. Get there early for a front row seat!

This would be my pick from the shows I saw. The emotions that are described so well will be familiar to anyone who has had any dealings with Cancer. I laughed and cried and didn't want it to finish Bravo!

Never failing to entertain, never failing to amaze with their improv. Great show!

– NY L.

Good range of songs sung with good voice supported by good pianist and you learn about Abraham Lincoln.

– Peter A.

A funny and very human story where it is easy to see how a 70s/80s upbringing can influence artistic practice. Could have filled in most of a bingo card ticking off the toys which featured - great trip down memory lane - A must see!

Saw on 5/8. Excellent, virtuoso performance in a well-written play. Some characters were a bit predictable but overall a good show with a performance full of vivacity and energy.

– Keith M.

I went to see this because I really like Flo& Joan but didn't feel their true comedy came through and it seemed to run out of steam about 20 minutes before it ended. Disappointing. 😒

– Kathleen N.

These guys are so funny. The show is so much better than individual stand up comedy.

– Kathleen N.

Great start to the day. Crousaint and choice of breakfat drink as you enter then a very clever and funny modern take on The Tempest. Enjoyable even if you don't know anything about Shakespeare.

– Kathleen N.

What a likeable man Rob is. His humour is not particularly laugh out loud but this show is definately amusing. As he shared some things he sees and realises are important it made me think what I think about some things I see.

Lulled into calmness with low lighting and gentle music I was soon gasping and holding my breath. These artists are strong, flexible and very brave!

In this venue the actors are so close it amazing how they keep their concentration. They are also very clever and imaginative at creating scenes with stage set in this amusing play. A really nice bit of theatre.

– Kathleen N.

It's everyone for themselves in this quiz, which has a fun way to test your knowledge. With every night having different questions, Quizzes can go back as often as they want.

– Kathleen N.

If you can't decide who or what you want to see during the Fringe this is the perfect show to get a preview of 7 acts. You might find something realky surprising that would otherwise be overlooked.

– Kathleen N.

How these artists think and create such clever and funny dialogue and songs so quickly is unbelievable. The improvisation guarantees a different show every night. Definately add it to your list of things to see.

La Clique

Shame the stage is much smaller this year. Good Cabaret though. Circus, comedy and LOTS of flesh on show. Not for the prudish.

– Kathleen N.

The lovely couple give a good mix of comedy, magic, and mind tricks. Obviously they need some participants to help and I am happy to say my disappearing ring was returned safely.

I do agree with the other review about feeling slightly unpolished, however, the fun free spirited Colombian vibe throughout the show definitely enhanced the experience and had me smiling and dancing throughout! good good vibes! some of the cast's characters had me absorbed, particularly the sassy host :)

Stamptown Comedy Night

1 out of 5 stars

Stamptown Comedy Night
Worst show I've ever seen in my life. Chaotic, questionable morals and humour, narrowminded at best and definitely not funny. People were walking out as it's such a waste of time. Great marketing though, getting all the fake 5 star reviews.

– Kat W.

I love Reuben so much, but this show didn't hit the mark I'm afraid. While it's important to raise the issue of homophobia, an entire hour of nothing else felt more like a TedTalk than a Cabaret. The fun, lightheartedness of his past performances was missing. And you could tell the audience was quite bummed out during and after the show. He confused AUS geography and names, and it all felt a bit rocky and unpolished, which is a bit of a downer, given that this show was running for a while in Australia.

How Can I Help You
Superb show - heartfelt, poignant and funny to boot!!! I think we can see a little bit of us all in Callum and his honestly is refreshing and real! Cannot recommend highly enough - a must see!!!

– Clare L.

Excellent thought provoking show, fantastic use of song, dance and drama to explore a dark subject.

– Malcolm L.

Great show : all the songs, excellent rock band, Michelle Pearson is a remarkable singer with an incredible range. Terrific night out, even some Scottish music care of AC/DC !

– Roberta M.

This is the worst show at the Fringe. An untalented group of precocious amateurs with no stage craft, no projection, being silly and incapable of delivering any kind of comedic experience. A group of privileged kids offending the past glories of the footlights and insulting the theatrical profession and the Edinburgh Fringe.

Meet Me in Buenos Aires

5 out of 5 stars

Meet Me in Buenos Aires
A Favorite. The only fringe show I attended twice (consecutive days) To anyone migrating, this hits home. Florencia actually takes you around the world and back to Buenos Aires where is impossible not to meet her. A fresh take on love and travel but mostly on loss and self discovery. Florencia sings her heart out and all rounder musical that explains perfectly the duality of missing home and not going back. The way she tells her story just drags you in and the hour does feel like 15 minutes. You are immerse in a a true journey with amazing soundtracks that i found my self singing the second time around. But most importantly it feels very true "Porteño" . If you have ever been to Buenos Aires and/or feel in love with its people, this is right who we are. I felt there in the middle of the family table. Thank you Florencia! Thank you fringe!

– Maia S.

A charming one person show that takes you on a journey through bereavement. Light hearted/funny and fantastical in parts; thought provoking throughout. Made me think of that David Niven film 'A matter of life and death' and gave me the same teary warm glow as watching the film. The show obviously has next to no budget so its a testament to how good the writing must be. Highly recommended.

I wasn't quite expecting that this "physical theatre" show would be professional wrestling, but loved the fact that it was. Great show and giggled through most of it.

– Gillian A.

Not only did I get a great show... I also got a good stretch out as I was "coerced" into doing the yoga class with Jillian along with 5 others. Shame I couldn't watch her very comic delivery as for a lot of the time I was in the downward dog position, but it was still a delight.

Pillock

5 out of 5 stars

Pillock
From the minute it starts the audience is asked to buckle up as a search for love, livelihood, and a cure for loneliness unfold in the the most messy human way imaginable. As Pillock craves connection the lengths he will go to to find it -- almost losing himself in the process -- make for an emotional whirlwind that pivots with whiplash precision from raucous laughter to gritty heartbreak. Peppered with nostalgic cultural references delivered with pointed urgency and an energy that never lets up, it's a show that will stick with you for all the right reasons. Do yourself a favour and go see this one.

Tending

Tending
A show which deserves as rich a staging as the three central performances. If you love verbatim theatre turned into art you will love this. A timely, sometimes harrowing, reminder of why we need the NHS.

– Carol S.

Blythe grabs a hold of your heartstrings from the first moment and refuses to let go until the final bow. A masterclass in one-man Shakespeare, Blythe effortlessly weaves a captivating interpretation of Hamlet with the modern commentary we know and love of the red-nose clown. A must see for all fans Shakespeare and clown!

– Joshua S.

Chris is a very creative and engaging storyteller. It is a very clever performance blending in his passion for art, his self-reflections accompanied by human stories and history. It was so fun and thought-provoking, the hour and a bit just went by! Would recommend!!

This show is a real Fringe gem - thought provoking, funny, tender and impossible not to relate to - I left with a tear in my eye and with the characters still in my head long after. Beautifully directed and brought to life, I look forward to checking out Orange Moon Theatre Co’s future shows. A must see! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent piece of solo theatre but at 35 minutes when advertised as 50 is somewhat disappointing considering the price.

I don't find someone shouting their opinions at an audience funny. He critisised Edinburgh and other Fringe acts so I suggest he does not come back.

The best kind of kid’s theatre. Fun without being silly for the sake of silliness, appeals to adults as well, seriously skilled performers.
